TeleOTIVA is a mobile platform from the Intelligent Systems Research Group (ISysRG) and the AIMed Centre of Excellence at Universitas Sriwijaya for early screening of precancerous cervical lesions. Health workers capture cervicography (VIA) images in the app; a segmentation model on the server marks suspicious regions, and oncologist–gynaecologists review the cases remotely.
The platform was tested on 1,611 women aged 20–50 at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang and twelve primary health centres, with twelve health workers trained to use the app. It launched in December 2024 and is available on Google Play and the App Store. ISysRG reports 98.14% accuracy, 95.65% sensitivity and 98.82% specificity for the screening model.
My part is full-stack engineering: the Flutter app, the Go backend and the servers they run on.
